My father was the most amazing man I know. He was my hero... You know... The strongest man on earth. Able to repair everything. But, he was also Mr Maske to my school friends, John Wayne to my best friend and an ol buddy to any stranger who would lend an ear. What will the world do without him? My heart breaks, but I know that he will live on forever in so many memories that I have and that countless others have. Please share your memories here if you have the time.
I miss you so much. I love you Dad.
Some things I realized from my Father's passing is that I made the most of our time. I didn't let one moment go by without him knowing how much I loved him and appreciated him. Not being religious, it was a gift to me to at least see him before he went. To also know that he is no longer in just one place but everywhere I go because of the memories I have of him... gives me peace.

Cards from My Dad...
One of the last things he mailed to my husband and I. Little did I know he was telling me it was okay for us to be so far away and everything will be okay.
If you are wondering about the cats... My father and I had a special "cat" bond. We would send each other stupid cat cards, books, or cat movies... or we would watch the pet part of "America's Funniest Home Movies..."
(I have a calico named Arwen hence the calico cat. they called her fatso)
